The short version
Last updated 15th October 2026.
Booking. Send us a booking form and we’ll check the date is available, then invoice you. Your place is only confirmed once we’ve received full payment and sent you written confirmation. A booking form or invoice on its own doesn’t hold a place.
Paying. Individuals booking for themselves pay within 48 hours of the invoice. Companies pay within 14 days. If your purchasing process needs longer, tell us before the deadline and we’ll work with you where we can. We take bank transfer, card, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Individuals can also use Klarna, subject to Klarna’s approval.
Cancelling. Tell us in writing. With 28 days’ notice or more, you get a full refund. With 15 to 27 days’ notice, you get 50% back. Inside 14 days, or if you don’t turn up, there’s no refund. Individuals also keep their statutory cancellation rights.
Changing your date. With 28 days’ notice or more, you can move to another date once for free. With 15 to 27 days’ notice, it’s £50. Inside 14 days, a change is treated as a cancellation. You can transfer once, and transferred bookings can’t be refunded.
Sending someone else. Companies can swap one technician for another if they tell us in writing at least 7 days before the course and we approve it. Companies are responsible for making sure the technicians they send meet the course prerequisites.
If we have to cancel. You choose between a full refund and another date. We can’t cover travel or accommodation costs.
On the course. Follow safety instructions and act professionally. Anyone using drugs or alcohol, harassing others or working unsafely will be removed without a refund.
Wind Training Solutions – Terms and Conditions (Course Bookings)
Last updated: 15th October 2026
At Wind Training Solutions (“WTS”), we’re passionate about delivering high-quality, hands-on technical training. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the key details of booking and attending one of our courses (the “Course”). We’ve kept them clear and straightforward to support a smooth experience for both individual and business customers.
If anything is unclear or you need flexibility, especially around payment timelines, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
1. Definitions
“Consumer” means an individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
“Business Customer” means a customer booking in the course of trade, business, craft or profession.
2. Booking Process
2.1 Provisional Booking
Submission of a provisional booking form constitutes a request to reserve a place on a scheduled Course date. This request is not a confirmed booking.
2.2 Invoice and Payment Window
Upon receipt of a provisional booking form and confirmation of date availability, WTS will issue an invoice. Payment is required within 48 hours of the invoice being issued for Consumers, and within 14 days of the invoice being issued for Business Customers.
If your organisation requires additional time due to internal purchasing procedures, please contact us before the payment deadline. WTS will accommodate reasonable extensions where possible.
2.3 Booking Confirmation
A binding contract is formed only when WTS receives full payment within the applicable payment window or, in the case of Klarna, when payment is successfully authorised, and WTS sends written confirmation of the booking.
Submitting a booking form or receiving an invoice does not guarantee your place.
2.4 Failure to Pay
If payment is not received within the required timeframe (or otherwise agreed), the provisional booking will be automatically cancelled.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Accepted Payment Methods
WTS accepts payment by:
- Bank transfer (BACS)
- Debit or credit card via Stripe
- Google Pay, Apple Pay, or compatible bank app
- Klarna (available to Consumers booking on their own behalf only, subject to approval)
3.2 Pricing and Fees
No additional payment surcharges apply. Prices are inclusive of standard payment processing costs unless otherwise stated.
3.3 Invoice Terms
Invoices are issued only after date availability is confirmed.
For Consumers, full payment is required within 48 hours of the invoice being issued.
For Business Customers, full payment is required within 14 days of the invoice being issued. Any extended payment terms must be agreed in writing in advance.
3.4 Confirmation
A booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment or, where Klarna is used, upon successful payment authorisation.
3.5 Late or Non-Payment
If payment is not made on time, the booking will lapse. Any late payment may be refunded or applied to a future date at WTS’s discretion.
3.6 Full Payment Requirement
Payments must be made in full, either directly or via an approved payment provider. You are responsible for ensuring WTS receives the full invoiced amount.
3.7 No Set-Off or Withholding
You shall not withhold payment of any amount due under these Terms by reason of any dispute, set-off, or counterclaim.
3.8 Klarna Payment Terms (Consumers Only)
Klarna is a third-party payment provider offering “buy now, pay later” options. This payment method is available only to Consumers booking on their own behalf and is subject to Klarna’s approval.
By selecting Klarna, you enter into a separate agreement with Klarna. WTS is not a party to this agreement and accepts no responsibility for Klarna’s terms, fees, payment schedules, or collection processes.
WTS receives full payment from Klarna upon successful authorisation. Any obligations relating to repayment remain solely between you and Klarna.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1 Customer Cancellations
- 28 days or more before the Course: 100% refund
- 15–27 days before the Course: 50% refund
- 0–14 days before the Course: No refund
4.2 Notice of Cancellation
Cancellations must be made in writing. The effective date is when WTS receives notice.
4.3 Refund Processing
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 days of written confirmation.
Refunds for card payments will be made to the original payment method, less any non-refundable processing fees.
Where payment has been made via Klarna, refunds will be processed via Klarna, and your agreement with Klarna will be adjusted accordingly.
In some cases where a refund is not possible, WTS reserves the right to retain the amount paid as a course credit. Course credit should normally be used within 30 days of being issued. WTS may agree a longer period at its discretion, and any extension will be confirmed in writing.

Failure to attend without notice will result in no refund.
