The banks of the river Tyne have long been home to people who work with their hands and lead through innovation. WTS is proud to carry that forward - challenging the status quo with training, with equipment, and with purpose.

The reason we built this.

WTS didn’t start as a business plan. It started because something wasn’t right.

Technical training in this industry had stopped being about people. It was built around machines, modules, and ticking boxes, not around helping real technicians grow. Training became something you sat through, passed, and figured out later on site. If you didn’t get it the first time, that was your problem.

We’ve been there. We’ve felt that.

WTS was created to do things differently. To stop leaving technicians in the dark. To build training that focuses on the person in front of you: their gaps, their context, and the skills they need to lead confidently under pressure.

We don’t believe technical development should be locked away behind big company gates. We believe high-level training should be built on real experience and made accessible to anyone who wants to learn.

That's why we started WTS: to train people, not parts, and to open doors that have stayed shut too long.
